H.T. Chen and Dancers seeks strong male modern dancers for its 2012-13 season of performances, plus rehearsal of new choreography and touring.
Paid rehearsals, concerts, national touring, educational programs
Auditions are: throughout May and June. Please email for appointment:
Location: Chen Dance Center, 70 Mulberry St, 2nd fl, corner Mulberry & Bayard, 1 block south of Canal Street

Requirements
Strong modern work required. Must be available immediately for weekday rehearsals.
Performances begin in October

Recipient of the 2009 NYC Mayor’s Arts Award, a 2002 NYS Governor’s Arts Award, and a 2005 Bessies Special Citation, the company performs annually in New York, conducts residencies and educational programming throughout the year, and operates a year-round school and blackbox theater in lower Manhattan.

Join us for performances of Chen Dance Center’s Educational programs!
Children from throughout the neighborhood are preparing for culminating programs in June:

Wednesday, June 6th
P.S. 42 SHOWCASE
Eighty 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students from our After-School program at P.S. 42 will present classwork and movement studies in 4 performances on Wednesday, June 6th.

Saturday & Sunday, June 9 & 10
The School at Chen Dance Center will hold its annual Piano Recital. Students will be performing piano pieces they have been working on throughout the semester.

Saturday & Sunday, June 16 & 17
DANCE RECITAL
The School at Chen Dance Center will hold its Spring Dance Recitals. The Modern Dance, Ballet, and Hip Hop classes will showcase the talents of its young students in 6 performances.
