Just in time for our 30th Anniversary, a dream long in the making has come true: a much needed additional room that will allow us to serve our expanding constituency and host increased quality programming in the years to come. We are almost half-way to reaching our goal of raising $8,000 which would provide the means to transform an 1891 classroom into a beautiful dance studio. With your matching support, the new studio will be a place for children to take their first ballet class, for dancers to rehearse, and for thousands of students from across the Metropolitan area to participate in educational workshops that generate an authentic appreciation for culture and dance.

The capital renovations include:

• Demolition of pre-existing wooden loft
• Removal of existing tile flooring
• Installation of new windows
• Repair and painting of walls
• Installation of new heating, cooling and electrical systems
• New wood dance flooring
• New cabinets and costume storage
• Ballet barres and mirrors
• New sound system
